The vineyards of Casato Prime Donne span 40 hectares, with 17 hectares exclusively dedicated to the Sangiovese grape variety. Each year, a rigorous selection of 10 hectares is made to produce the Casato Prime Donne Brunello di Montalcino. The south-facing vineyards, located at an altitude of 225 meters, benefit from a cool climate in the northern part of the Montalcino region. The clay and silt-rich soils impart the wine with characteristic depth and complexity.
